It's that time of year again! The Shutterbug's annual holiday photo contest is back. As a family-owned and operated business, this theme is especially close to our hearts. We cannot wait to see the beautiful moments you share with us.

This photo contest is going to be hosted on Instagram, but if you do not have an Instagram account, no worries, you can email your photo to: marketing@theshutterbug.com

How to enter via Instagram:

1. Follow @shutterbugoregon on Instagram

2. Post on your own Instagram page, your photo

3. Tag us in the photo (not just the description)

4. Use #SBFAM25

How to enter if you don't have an Instagram (your entry will be shared on social media and our newsletter):

1. Email your photo to marketing@theshutterbug.com

2. Include in your email which photo contest you are entering into, your contact information (Full name/Phone Number) and what you shot your photo with.

Photo Contest Rules:

Photos must be PG in nature.

Photos must be your own, taken during 2025/2026.

Photos must be taken with a photo-taking device: Film/Digital camera, phone, instant camera etc.

Prizes must be picked up in-store by contest winners within 2 months of the end of the contest.

*PHOTO CONTEST RULES: By entering in this contest, the entrant will accept full and complete representation of their entry as The Shutterbug will not have any affiliation of any potential violations. Entrants also accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Any violation of these rules will result in immediate disqualification.

All rights reserved to the photographer and owner of image submission(s). Entrant/photographer releases the right to The Shutterbug to use any photo entry for promotional and display purposes of any current campaign or future contests.

We reserve the right to refuse any photo entries containing unprofessional subject matter/content or subjects not pertaining to the contest category. Entrant must be at least 13 years of age. If applicable, entrant must know the name and address of all identifiable persons in their photographs, and must provide such person with a proper release form.

Graphic design illustrations are not accepted; entries must be an actual photographic image with a subject; basic post process adjustments are accepted (e.g. Photoshop, Lightroom etc.). No entry fee is required. Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Sponsor prizes/certificates may contain expiration dates, single redemption, non-transferable and have no cash value.

Local winners will be awarded a certificate of the prize to be used in-store at The Shutterbug.

Out of state photo enlargement winners will receive an online promo code Out of state canvas wrap winners will receive a certificate by mail to be used direct as a phone order with The Shutterbug sales (shipping costs not included).

The winning announcement may be shared on social media and other pages. Contest rule may be subject to change.
